What are wholegrains?

Wholegrains are the complete grains of the cereal, i.e. grains that contain all the different layers existing in each cereal. They are therefore the most natural form of cereals, and contain all their nutritional richness, as no original part has been removed.

Benefits of the wholegrains

Eating wholegrain cereals has significant health benefits. They combat constipation and reduce the incidence of diseases such as diabetes (by regulating insulin levels) and cancer. They are also known to be used for weight loss since they provide a greater feeling of satiety.
