Grapeseed Oil is extracted from the seeds of the grape, Vitis vinifera. It is a light, fine oil with barely any scent and a notably non-greasy finish, so it sinks in quickly and leaves little residue behind.
This makes it a popular carrier for diluting essential oils in massage and body-oil blends, particularly where a lighter feel than sweet almond is preferred. It also works well as a base ingredient in home-made cosmetic and haircare recipes.
