Betaine HCl Tablets: Enhancing Stomach Acidity
These tablets provide additional acidity to the stomach as Betaine HCl releases hydrochloric acid after swallowing, the same acid that the stomach naturally produces. The tablets are designed to dissolve in the stomach where acidity is required.

Hydrochloric acid has various functions; for example, it sterilizes ingested food and activates the powerful enzyme pepsin, breaking down protein and allowing extraction of vitamin B12 from foodstuffs.
